Always Ask Your Boss For Feedback

In continuation with my last few posts about the articles over at http://academy.justjobs.com I had to follow up with another blog posts on an important subject over there. It discussed that you should always ask for feedback from your boss or peers. I say peers because this also works for clients, employees, girlfriend – boyfriend, imaginary friend, etc.

I liked how the article mentioned that you should not schedule a meeting to discuss your feedback on how you are doing, just go ahea dand ask it right out. Meetings are often a nuissance to people and can really create tension if there are things your peer wants you to work on. If you just ask through email or what not, then the other person can respond briefly at their leisure and is easier to take if maybe you just need to work on a small issue.

You also should focus on when you ask for feedback.  You will want to ask for feedback during or after a job interview as this just shows your professionalism. This will really stick out in your managers mind.  Now, this is one situation where you want to ask for feedback but I will let you read the rest of the article at: http://academy.justjobs.com/ask-for-feedback/
